Security Test & Evaluation/Certification Test & Evaluation - CTA develops and reviews test cases for accomplishing verification activities supporting security Certification & Accreditation. These test cases are requirements based and tailored to the client’s needs.

Security Vulnerability Assessment – CTA assesses the vulnerabilities of server operating systems, database management systems, application software, and network components (firewalls, routers, gateways) as well as assessments associated with enterprise security practices and procedures. The result is a prioritized list of the discovered vulnerabilities, and analysis of the associated risks and estimated mitigation costs.

Penetration Testing – CTA utilizes the latest in penetration techniques and tools to assess the implemented security posture of systems. This differs from general security and operational testing in that the focus is from an attacker’s perspective concentrating on any vulnerability that may exist. This not only ensures that the implementation is secure but that the foundational security requirements are sufficient.
